Inaugural Forsyth Hardy Lecture, 2012

The Inaugural Forsyth Hardy Lecture took place on Saturday 30th June 2012 as part of the 66th Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Marc David Jacobs of the CMI gave a lecture on the origins of the Festival, as one with a documentary focus, featuring many pieces from the Guild’s archives.

This was followed by a screening of Humphrey Jenning’s film The Cumberland Story, which was one of the films screened in the first Edinburgh International Film Festival.
