Membership

Edinburgh Film Guild membership is available to anyone aged 18 or over. You can join online via the form below;  or in person at any screening. You can pay your membership donation either by cash/cheque by post, at your first screening or, by PayPal using the links provided at the foot of this page.

Facilities

Our small 30-seat (no frills) cinema has a state-of-the-art digital projector and sound system. Members can enjoy a drink and a chat in our Guild Clubrooms before a screening.

How to join

Becoming a member is easy. You must be aged 18 or over, and you can join in person before any of our screenings or online. 

Health and safety

Please note that although there are no longer any requirements to physically distance from other people some precautionary measures remain in place.
You must, by law, wear a face covering and we are required to collect the contact details of all visitors to the Guild, in line with NHS Scotland’s Test and Protect strategy.

Tickets

We do not sell tickets for individual films or for any specific films. Your membership fee helps to pay for a wide range of operating costs.

Membership cards 

  • Membership @ £25 – You can purchase a £25 Membership Card which entitles you to see any 5 films of your choice during the full season. You can top-up with additional £25 Membership Cards if required. Your card must be stamped at each of the screenings you attend. Note: Full season memberships are not available this year.

    Location: This season, the Guild will be using its Chuckie Pend entrance, a passage way located directly behind the Filmhouse building – accessible from both Festival Square and Morrison Street, just off Lothian Road. (The Guild will not be accessible from within Filmhouse.)
