Volunteering

The Edinburgh Film Guild is exclusively run by volunteers who deal with all the aspects of running a film society: programming, publicity, brochure and web design, film projection and ushering, along with administration work including accounting, recording and issuing memberships, dealing with technical problems, and liaising with the various people who use our facilities — or just making sure the coffee doesn’t run out and that there is a nice atmosphere!

These volunteers include:

  • John Aldridge
  • Keith Brown
  • Jim Dunnigan
  • Nadine Fabre
  • Nicola Hay
  • Gillian Gloyer
  • Ewan Lauder
  • Jillian Martin-Brown
  • Julia Ossenbruegge
  • Andreas Rust
  • Beatrice Wickens

If you want to join us and help in any way in the running of the Guild, please contact one of us before/after one of our screening, on a Sunday or Wednesday, or via email at volunteering@edinburghfilmguild.org.uk or using the contact form.
