Sadly, the Filmhouse went into administration in October 2022 with the loss of jobs of many of our colleagues & friends. While the Guild is an entirely separate and solvent entity from Filmhouse we shared the same building, which forced us to cancel our planned season of screenings in the Guild cinema. However, details of our cancelled season still provide a flavour of the Guild’s programming and may be of interest. See our rolling list of films, below, and our Programme Leaflet from the cancelled season.
Current season: The Edinburgh Film Guild, in partnership with the Institut français d’Ecosse, is screening a series of French language films. Screenings take place once a month, on Fridays, from October 2023 to March 2024 at Institut français d’Ecosse. See: Our Screenings 2023-2024
